GLOBAL PRECISION OPTICS EXPANDS MANUFACTURING

Anderson, SC, July 23, 2010 -- Global Precision Optics (GPO), a leading optics company, announced the release of new equipment, which will allow tighter control on their manufacturing process. Global Precision Optics manufactures glass domes ranging from 2"-13"
and plastic up to 18." Other perks from the new equipment include faster product completion without sacrificing quality.

GPO is a leading supplier of custom fabricated optical components for aerospace, defense, medical, commercial and research applications. They supply spherical lenses, windows, mirrors, wedges, domes, and many other elements in a variety of substrate materials. This includes optical and filter glasses, plastics, fused silicas, quartz, and infrared materials, such as germanium, and zinc compounds.

The unique niche to GPO is their ability to do custom work with not only glass, but acrylic, resulting in domes with a 40,000 ft. depth rating. GPO's specialty is in precision optical components for the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared spectrum in prototype and production quantities.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

I hope everyone reading this is having an awesome 4th with friends and family. It's always nice to have a long weekend to relax. With a family like ours we don't know how to relax. ha! ha! We have been helping John (our oldest son) and his wife Lisa finish the patio. I think we have moved and layed thousands of patio pavers, or it seems like it anyway. The nice thing is we are able to help them out and still spend time together.
