HEAT WAVE
Here in South Carolina we have had over 20 days with 90+ weather. Weather like this makes us miss living in Colorado. This week our daughter in law is on business in Denver. I told her we can pick up the shop and move. I think for now we will stay put and make this our 20th year the best ever for Global Precision.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS
The manufacture of optical elements usually involves traditional processes encommpassing several technologies. These can be summarized as follows:
1. Raw Materials
2. Handling & Cleaning
3. Generating
4. Blocking
5. Grinding
6. Polishing
7. Centering, Edging, and Beveling
8. Inspection
After the optical element has passed through these processes, it is ready for the optical coating and for assembly into the optical instrument or system.
